The Can Do Jock- Dhani Jones

I am not even going to embarrass myself and act like I know anything about football; I don't know beans about it. I just played Madden on PS2 a couple of times, that's it. But this handsome gent plays for the Cincinnati Bengals and stars in his own television series called "Dhani Tackles the Globe" on the travel channel. He also enjoys writing poetry in his free time.

Some might debate his current bear status, but at 6 ft 2 and 235 lbs, he's a musclebear in my book. Even the most purest of bear admirers have to admit that his sexy chubbier days are yet to come (all y'all will be droolin' then). I can't wait until he retires and starts skipping workouts. hehe.

Be sure to check out his show on the Travel Channel.

Throwback Bear - Frankie Faison

Frankie Faison

This beaaauutiful man has been a favorite of mine for a long time. He has played supporting characters in films such as Meet the Browns, White Chicks, The Thomas Crown Affair, and Down to Earth. He is probably best known for his supporting work in Silence of the Lambs, in fact he was the only actor in the original film that reprised his role in all four Hannibal Lector films.

My personal favorite character he played was the foul-mouthed slumlord in Coming to America. Frankie is the epitome of a throwback bear. He has held it down for bearish men of color before it was even in vogue to be an exotic bear. Cheers to you Mr. Faison.

British Cub- Chiwetel Ejiofor

I first discovered this British actor of Nigerian heritage in the film, Talk to me with Don Cheadle. On an artistic level, I thought damn, this guy is a great actor! On a superficial level, however I thought, damn he is handsome. Mr. Ejiofor has the kind of eyes that will get you in trouble. Dude can hypnotize you without even trying.

Aside from Talk to Me, Ejiofor has appeared in films such as Dirty Pretty Things, Children of Men, American Gangster, and Redbelt.

With plenty of crticial acclaim and acting awards under his belt, Ejiofor is destined to become one of our most celebrated actors.

Anybody wanna trade spots with Tim Allen?

Brawlin' Bears

Pictured above is Robert Carnes Jr, he allegedly got into a scuffle with Suge Knight (former CEO of Death Row Records) over the weekend. Word on the street is that Carnes Jr. beat that ass (but I ain't one of the gossips).

I would say something but being a practical man, I'll decline. I am afraid of anybody who could handle Suge Knight in a fight.

I ain't going to say nothin' more than WOOF.

Idol Bears

When wincing through the horrible singers on American Idol be patient... one will eventually find talent. Luckily, we didn't have to wait that long to find it.

Stephen Fowler appears to be an early favorite. He seems to have the calm, polite demeanor of a Ruben Studdard while having major vocal chops. Looks wise, he's as handsome as they come, but ain't feelin the "processed hair" dogg, I will just keep it at that. He sort of reminds me of Carl Anthony Payne II (Cole from Martin). Now if we can get him to remember song lyrics, he could be a contender.

Another contender who caught my eye is Matt Breitzke, one of the two "blue-collar" hopefuls. He is a little bit average on the vocal end of the spectrum, but I think his personality and cute face will push him through (and the support from bear community, he will undoubtedly receive. Note to Matt: do not answer any questions about Prop 8 or any other gay civil rights issues... hehe).

Be sure to catch Idol on Fox!

Bring tha Payne

Carl Anthony Payne II

If you ever stumbled across old reruns of Martin, then I am sure you noticed this cubalicious actor. Sadly, his babyface and overall stature forced him to play goofy sidekick on the television series. He played the role so well, it took years for me to realize how incredibly sexy Mr. Payne actually was (still is).

Side note, these were the best pictures I could find of Mr. Payne. Anybody who has better shots, please drop me a note. LOL
At 5 ft 6, he is the perfect height for any cub lover. I hope this actor gets the vehicle he deserves someday. Until then, you can catch him on the Martin series on DVD.

Chi McBride... my, oh my.

When the topic of "black bears" comes up, Chi McBride's name is rarely mentioned. Why is that? He has played in a number of notable parts, enough for the gays to notice. Anyways, here is Mr. McBride on all his bear glory. He is my pretend friend. hehe. He currently stars in ABC's Pushing Daisies.

Awww, cute even when sad. hehe

Yes... keep on dreaming, chasers. LOL
