Bill Nunn - Like Nunn Other

Bill Nunn has been a primo choice for a standup supporting black character in films for many years. His most notable turns are in films like "Sister Act', "SpiderMan", "Regarding Henry" and who could forget his unforgetable turn as Radio Raheim in "Do the Right Thing." Acting chops aside, Bill Nunn is a quite the good looking guy.

A Morehouse college alum and well respected in the industry, Bill Nunn is the real deal. Also, very straight and married.

But that won't stop me from saluting him in this blog. Cheers Bill.

Damien Holt- Some Porn Star Love

Not a bear, nor chubby, but nice to look at all the same. I personally enjoyed his work in films such as "Afterparty" and in "Manhole 2". I think he is both good looking and a great performer. He seems to geninuely enjoy his scenes. I get a little annoyed by actors who look disconnected in their films.

Damien, I am sure you prefer the muscular, smooth types but hey, if you ever want to go bear. I am sure you'd do just fine.

Mr. Page Kennedy

Page Kennedy has created a name for himself in Hollywood by playing rough around the edges, but overall, likable characters. His most memorable turn was that of the character, U-Turn in the series Weeds. He briefly appeared in the series "Desperate Housewifes" but was let out of his contract reportedly due to improper conduct on the set (which Kennedy strongly denies ever happened, his take is that the producers "wanted to go in a different direction"). Hopefully, he has learned from his mistakes (be them innocent or not) and his brilliant work as an actor will speak for itself. I see great things in this actor's future.

Another reason to like him: his hilarious portrayal of a gay gang member who is in love with a rival Mexican gang member on the recently-canceled "My Name is Earl." In the episode, his character commands his lover to squeeze his buttocks. LOL

Oh B. Pumper...

This is not a typical post but porn star/rapper?, B. Pumper decided to release a diss song for Rick Ross. I guess Ross suggested (in one of his raps) that B. Pumper has done gay porn, (probably referring to those photoshopped B. Pumper gay porn pictures circulating the net). So in an attempt to defend his manhood, Pumper has come up with this...

Nobody ever has accused B. Pumper of being a lyrical genius, but damn this is a mess. Throughout the rap, Pumper makes fun of Ross' weight, calling him a "fat whale" and that he has to pay women to sleep with him. At the end of the video, Pumper goes on and on about how fat and disgusting Rick Ross is and that he needs to get a gym membership. *SNAP* A guy obsessing over the weight of another man, hmmm sounds like a queen to me. :P

The Can Do Jock- Dhani Jones

I am not even going to embarrass myself and act like I know anything about football; I don't know beans about it. I just played Madden on PS2 a couple of times, that's it. But this handsome gent plays for the Cincinnati Bengals and stars in his own television series called "Dhani Tackles the Globe" on the travel channel. He also enjoys writing poetry in his free time.

Some might debate his current bear status, but at 6 ft 2 and 235 lbs, he's a musclebear in my book. Even the most purest of bear admirers have to admit that his sexy chubbier days are yet to come (all y'all will be droolin' then). I can't wait until he retires and starts skipping workouts. hehe.

Be sure to check out his show on the Travel Channel.

Throwback Bear - Frankie Faison

Frankie Faison

This beaaauutiful man has been a favorite of mine for a long time. He has played supporting characters in films such as Meet the Browns, White Chicks, The Thomas Crown Affair, and Down to Earth. He is probably best known for his supporting work in Silence of the Lambs, in fact he was the only actor in the original film that reprised his role in all four Hannibal Lector films.

My personal favorite character he played was the foul-mouthed slumlord in Coming to America. Frankie is the epitome of a throwback bear. He has held it down for bearish men of color before it was even in vogue to be an exotic bear. Cheers to you Mr. Faison.

British Cub- Chiwetel Ejiofor

I first discovered this British actor of Nigerian heritage in the film, Talk to me with Don Cheadle. On an artistic level, I thought damn, this guy is a great actor! On a superficial level, however I thought, damn he is handsome. Mr. Ejiofor has the kind of eyes that will get you in trouble. Dude can hypnotize you without even trying.

Aside from Talk to Me, Ejiofor has appeared in films such as Dirty Pretty Things, Children of Men, American Gangster, and Redbelt.

With plenty of crticial acclaim and acting awards under his belt, Ejiofor is destined to become one of our most celebrated actors.

Anybody wanna trade spots with Tim Allen?
